Who cares if the trip is possibly 563 days away? Not us! Who cares if my entire bedroom wall is going be a countdown calendar? Other than DH, nobody cares!

So what if we are only on Day 1 of our last trip? Not moi.

Is there a limit on the amount of fun one can have on the boards? I think not. Might we change the dates? You betcha! Are we in for the long haul? Absolutely!

Why the strange title you ask:

How this return trip came about:


Once returning from this last trip, see siggy for report, I knew we'd have to go back! It was seriously the best family vaction we'd ever taken! Of course, because patience is not my virtue, I bring it up as soon as we arrive home.


Me: We really need to plan we are going to go to Disneyland, ya know. It's been a long time.

DH: Are you &%^$#@*&( kidding me?

Me: No, but I think we need to do it over the holidays. Remember how magical the trip in Dec 2005 was?

DH: Yeah.

Me: Well then we should go in December of 2009.

DH: So no Disney next year? 2009? I thought you agreed to 5 years?

Me: Did you really think that was going to happen? You have to admit it was the best vacation and well worth the money.

DH: I agree. Looking back, I had a really good time.


At this point we agree on December 2009 at Disneyland! I am feeling pretty greatful at least for a week until it hits me that it's over 800 days away.


I tell Jenna about December and they are in! I tell Keith and Tracy and they aren't sure. They are going back in 2008, sans kids, and then again with the kids, sometime early-mid 2009.

My wheels start spinning faster and my 40th is in March 2009!

I agree! The Food and Wine Festival would have been a blast but it would have been half the time. The no kids was a nice perk though!

The Who: I thought maybe you would all like to know who is going on this far far away trip? Lemme tell ya so I don't keep you hanging! I will add pictures this weekend or you can go to my trip report, linked at the bottom of the page, if you just can't take the suspense!

Jenna, mom to Jon, Chris, and Emma. Helper to Nate, bargain shopper supreme and has the most kind and generous spirit!

Nate, well he does carry a murse Dad to Jon, Chris, and Emma, hubby and sarcastic counterpart to sweet Jenna.

Jon, aka Little Man Tate. He is SO bright and definetly could kick any of our butts on anything related to a school subject and if you tell him you are going to do something, you BETTER do it! Oh and I recently found out that he loves Gabby. Awwwwww......

Chris, Cutest 1st grader on the planet and PS2 player fantastico! He is funny and sweet kid and good swimmer!

Emma, the cutest little doll you have ever seen. Tiny but strong willed and SO verbal and sweet. Hates her stroller and loves to talk on the phone!

Me,

Michael, labile Disney lover, amazing dad, fabulous chef, and all around good guy.

Gabby, pre-teen in the making, 10 going on 17, sweet, sensitive, loves all things Disney.

Chloe, VERY sensitive, funny as all get out, wise beyond her years, and has an old soul.

Joshua, my little spicy guy who is now growing his hair long again! Loves his dad and teases his sisters. Funny and witty just like me.


And possibly joining us:

Tracy, very sweet person with a heart of gold. Good mommy and role model. Has a Disney geekiness that can't be riveled.

Keith, sweet, funny, a writer, and will be famous one day. Loves all things Disney and then some!

Morgan, darling teen who has the patience of a saint (or at least that's what I saw), doesn't know how cute she is, and very loyal.

Luke, swarthy and handsome, will be a lady killer one day, well not literally I hope. VERY sensitive and extremely bright.

Spencer, free thinker and wanderer like no other. Loves nothing more than a good pin trade and a little sugar. Feisty and creative and lots of fun to be with!
