I LOVE and own a dvd copy of "So I Married an Axe Murderer", it is hilarious....of course that's not how we speak...ahem
. Bugger is one of my favourite words and I use it on a daily basis but we have a wealth of swear words in the UK that would make your conversation very colourfull....one in particular that you americans use innocently on a daily basis

I am intrigued! So there is a word we use daily that is profanity for you? Post it already!
I love that movie too. Mike Myers is a riot. Joshua (6) quotes it daily. Mom, waffle, neowww!

You guys are so funny
Also you don't consider Bloody as swearing do you? We do here although it's gradually getting just normal language![]()
Ha ha ha!! I am getting quite the language lesson!!![]()
I haven't been on lately as we are all. It sucks taking care of sick kids when you feel like total crap yourself.

But on a positive note, Nate has agreed to extend our Disney trip by an extra day!Maybe it was the feverish stupor talking, but he did say it!

I said Bloody in front of my mum a few weeks ago and got seriously
...this is from the woman who once (in her very polite accent) agreed with my dad "You know you're absolutely right Bill that chap is a complete HeadDick!!"
. Wee soul I think she was trying to be cool

That is SO cute!!!!! We aren't going to turn into those ladies who are trying to be cool are we?

Well I know you use it instead of "bum"... Becci nearly required a defib last year when she heard a wee girl being told to sit on her fanny!!! OMG she nearly
...I then recounted the time when I was 12 and read a Sweet Dreams teen romance book, the heroine was on a field trip and complained to her BFF that she had frostbite of the f**ny my friends and I were in complete shock
. In case you hadn't worked it out by now in the UK it means "flower" or "ha'penny" or "vee jay jay"...I could go on and on but I'm sure you get my drift.

Donny and I are big Mike Myers fans...same twisted sence of humour I guess

NO WE ARE NOT going to turn into our mothers. My mum thinks she pretty "right on" but she also starts alot of conversations with the phrase "I don't consider myself to be a prude but...."
![]()
Well mine normally just tells me who's died recently![]()
I have to honest girlies my mum is great, yes she makes my teeth itch sometimes but she's got a great sence of humour and is realy good company. I think it's because she's never given up work and does loads in her spare time. Her main topic of conversation is planning holiday so maybe I have turned into her already
Sorry this makes me sound like little miss smug but I can't pretend that apart from not being able to swear properly and being a bit prudish mum actually is pretty![]()
I can't keep up with the ladies talking........![]()
Just checking in....
Nice of Nate to man up and add the extra day. will he need his murse on an Adults only trip?
Of course he'll need his murse. He even needs the murse when he's huntin'.![]()
I'm hoping for May, but it's 50/50 right now.
