Thanks for understanding & being sympathetic guys! I think Jon is the one really pushing the issue. He gets on the phone and guilts my MIL into coming. Then he asks me why I'm trying to stop them from coming. Nate says deep down they really want us to go over there instead. They want us to look at a house that's for sale. They think since we're not doing anything this weekend anyway, why not? Well, Emma has dance class Sat. morning. We are going over there the firtst weekend of March so she'll have to miss dance then. And really, the house can wait two or three weeks for us to look at it. It's not going anywhere. Besides if we are going over soon anyway (for a concert), why would we want to waste the gas this weekend? What really ticks me off is they don't care about Emma missing dance class. But when the shoe was on the other foot and my nephew had baseball, he couldn't miss it for the world! The double standards in that family kill me!

:goodvibes I am so sorry sweetie. This is just another reason you need to move out west. ;) So are they coming?????? When do you find out? Are they just going to show up? You go there all the time. Why are they coming anyway?

I'm sure we'll be able to make a few rope drops with you!:rotfl:

:flower3:

Way to recycle!:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: It is a darling picture though!:thumbsup2

 Looks like I am set for the next 85 days! pirate: I will take new ones but I cannot explain how busy it's been lately. :hyper:

:wave2: Hi Girlies I'm back from the abyss that is a sick child;) :rotfl2: . Haven't we all been chattering little monkeys in my absence:hyper2: . Loving the trip plans, have you any ideas about that second last day or are you just going to do pirate: stylee and go with the flow? We've bought Becci a Wii fit for her birthday at the end of March. It has been sitting at the end of my bed for a couple of weeks now and I am sorely tempted to have a wee shot at that amazing yoga that you've been talking about. Would it really make me a bad mummy if I used my daughter's birthday pressie for over a month before she got it:confused3 ;) :lmao: ?

BTW I have lost 15lbs since 06Jan09 :cheer2: :woohoo: ...just 56lbs to go:scared: :rotfl:

Fantastic on the weight loss Kirsteen and for converting it to US measurements ;) :rotfl: And errr she may notice if you've used it :lmao:

Kirsteen it logs your activity so when she opens it on her Birthday, plugs it in and it says this is day 30 for k I think she'll guess :rotfl:

It's getting close Jenny!

Hey, I just read that you CAN participate in the American Idol thing, despite being over 28. It's just that if you win, you have to give your pass away!

From the DIS news story:
The Disney competition will be open for guests age 14 and up. Since American Idol is limited to participants in the 16 to 28 year age group, the winner of Disney's contest can transfer their pass to a friend or family member or, in the case of those under age 16, save it for a future Idol competition. The pass cannot be sold.

I want you to video tape it though if you sing and post it here for me to watch!

Thanks for the :goodvibes everyone. I was averaging 3lb loss a week but with my exercise was being curtailed due to sick a wean I only lost 1 3/4lbs at my weigh in on Thu morning. Donny' taking the girls to play tennis this morning so I'm going out for an hours brisk walk this morning to try to kick start my metabolism again. If that doesn't work I'm def. going to break in to Becci's Wii and to hell with the consequenses:rotfl2: .

Niamh is no longer ill but is VERY scabby, we're at the "STOP PICKING:scared1: !!!!" stage....always a joy;) . She missed dance class last Saturday because the pox had just kicked off and she could probably go back today as the spots are all crusty but I think she may scare the other girls and parents so we're keeping her off again:angel: . I so hope this won't damage her career in any way;) :lmao:

Good luck with the Out-Laws visiting Jenna:scared: ...you'll be in my prayers;) :rotfl:

:goodvibes 1.75 pounds is a lot for one week; don't get discouraged. :woohoo: You are doing awesome!

I am glad Niamh is feeling better. When I first read she was scabby :rotfl2: I thought I was going to be learning a new Scottish term. I also want to tell you I watched Braveheart last night and cried like a baby!

Sorry I have been lagging on the countdown. Valentine's Day was terrific. Hope you are all having a good weekend! :grouphug:

what did I miss??

Thanks for the encouragement. We went to Largs today and had lunch in this amazing place called Nardini's which is based on an old fashioned Italian cafe that's been there since the 1930's. The food and surrounding were amazing, they have their own pizzaria, italian bakery and ice cream factory on the premisis:cloud9: . I really had to hold back whilst we were there, I had a sandwich with roast beef, caramelized onion and goats cheese on toasted italian bread:love: and a hot chocolate that was just a glass of hot milk and a stick with a huge hunk of belgian choc on it and you leave it in the milk until the choc melts...hummna hummna. At that point I put on the breaks and did not partake of the delish pastries or the amazing ice cream...they had the most wonderful sounding flavours and sundae's:worship: :faint: , I think I'm in need of an intervention:rotfl2: .

I ALWAYS cry when I watch Braveheart, yes the story is not exactly historically acurate and it makes me feel weird to lust after Mel in his kilt when I know what a complete nutter he is but it is a classic and when I've had a wee swally it makes me come over all patriotic:cloud9: :lmao:

Glad you had a good weekend. Hope the rest of you girlies had a fun time....is you're sanity still in tact after the visitation Jenna:scared: :rotfl:

PS I think scabby means scabby no matter where you come from.....scabs are universal:rotfl2:
