Sounds fun! I have an fb account, but I think I only have one friend. :sad1: I'll PM you to get your info once I figure it all out.
I already PM'd you! lol, everyone starts with one friend! They start adding up fast though!

I hope Yoda has a better night tonight!

Wow you guys have been chatty :rotfl:

Bev you can find me via Jenny's friends if I don't find you first :rotfl:

Sounds like a great day. That's so cool that you've found some exercise you like to do. I'm desparately trying to get an exercise routine going and am struggling in a major way. Are you doing anything to commemorate the inauguration? A good friend of mine went to DC for the inauguaration, and I'm getting little reports. It sounds like it's so neat there right now. I'm a little jealous.

I went to school in Indiana--maybe I need to start calling up old classmates for no particular reason. :rolleyes1:

Sounds like a good day! Everyone's exercising--very good! :thumbsup2

I also had a pretty lazy day--met a friend for lunch, then went grocery shopping. :yoda: has at least four teeth growing in right now, so he's having a rough time. Hopefully, this will pass soon. Any teething tips?

:goodvibes We must have posted at the same time last night because I just saw this. Teething sucks. Freeze a clean washcloth and let :yoda: chew on that. It helped my kids.

:wave2: Hello my darlings, sorry to hear your weekends have been a bit pants:sad2: :grouphug: . Looking forward to seeing your vase Jenny. Things have been a wee bit frantic :crazy2: in our household for since the middle of last week so I intend to chill out for a couple of hours today while the Tazmanian Devil is at nursery. Donny's coming home for lunch so that should be a nice distraction as well:)

Doony is coming home for lunch? Is that code for nooner? ;)

You MADE a vase? What did you make it out of? (I'm envisioning the scene from Ghost right now--please get that out of my head! :scared: ) I may have to figure out fb just so I can see it! :goodvibes

Sorry things have been crazy for you! Have a nice, relaxing couple of hours today.

I'm really bummed that I have to be at work today instead of watching round-the-clock inauguration coverage. This is definitely a historic day.

I'm sorry, I didn't make the vase but I did pick out the flowers etc...I can post the pic here.

:rotfl2:

was it raku? we always do raku at octoberfest in savannah. it's where they have already made the vases/pottery for you and you paint it with this special paint that they have, then they bake it and it turns all kinds of crazy colors. you have no idea how it will turn out. you just have to sort of play with a little bit and it's really cool to see the different patterns that come out.

so are you excited about the inaugeration today? ray is. he was talking about how he's going to be really mad if he's busy at work at noon! :rotfl:

I watched today from work with my co-workers and boss. It was magnificent! :thumbsup2

Jenny! I need an itinerary update! I tried to click on the link on your first page, but it goes back to a June itinerary from the days that you were trying to work in a cruise!

Morgan and I were looking at pics of the kids on fb last night and discussing how grown up Gabby looks and how different Josh looks with the long hair. They are SO cute...

I posted an itinerary about 10 pages back. I'll look and copy it here. :goodvibes

I love the new flowers! It's a nice splash of color!pixiedust:

I posted a pic of the vase on the previous post.
Very cute! Thanks for posting it! (I'll get to FB one day, but probably not today.) I love the pics of your house. It seems very cute.

Jenny, I lost your quote about color splashes, but I think that's great. I love bright colors, but I get nervous about it. We have a mostly beige home, except for my IKEA shower curtain.

I agree! Very cheerful.

Love the vase and flowers Jenny, both simply beautiful and funky.

 ahemmmm.......well Paul McKenna did say that any activity that raises your heart rate is exercise and we've not got round to buying the Wii Fit yet so....

We're going to a meeting at Becci's new school this morning which I am kind of looking forward to and kind of dreading:rolleyes2 . I think it will be interesting and the year heads has been lovely on the phone but I have an aversion to meeting people in authority:guilty: . I always feel as thought I'm in trouble for something when meeting people like that, what can I say I'm a bit nuts:crazy2: but you guys already knew that about me;) .

Anyway have a great day all of you:goodvibes .

Lovely vase Jenny and ohhhh naughty Kirsteen :rotfl:

The school visit will be fine, what year is Becci in? I know what you mean about feeling like a kid again!

We're in the process of booking the GF for 12th to 22nd December :yay:

The school visit couldn't have gone any better, you know me I worry about the day that will never come:rolleyes: :rotfl2: . Becci is in her first year at secondary school. We wanted to apply for a placement request for this school but didn't have much hope at getting her in. It's a very good school (ranked 13 in the top 50 state run schools in Scotland) and they have a ton of extra curricular activities and amazing school trips:faint: . Becci is totally:hyper::cheer2: and has been given her timetable and a start date of 02Feb :crazy2: it's all moving very fast but it's definately worth it.

WOW GF IN DECEMBERpixiedust: .....I am incredibly jealous and SO looking forward to your TR:hyper:

Bev, I love IKEA. I didn't make it there the other day though. I was having enough fun tasting at Harmon's. That is a great store!

:wave2: Mornin' toots, how's things?

Bex is just over the moon about the new school, she's starting on 02Feb. They have a great art department and a tennis team....that was all she needed to hear :rotfl2: but add to that the information that the art department were running a school trip to Florence and the Home Economics department were running a trip to a cookery school in Italy and :faint: . Seriously it sound great but she'll have to up her game academically as at the moment she's coasting in the top classes of a not terribly challenging school.

 Hi Jo, hi Dawn. :teeth:

I know :yay:

Becci will be 13 in March, Scottish schools move them up to secondary when they're 12. Not sure where Futters is, where in Scotland roughly?

Jess will be 13 in July :faint: Errrr Futters is in Scotland ;) :rotfl: It's the school Tony Blair went to if that helps :rotfl2:

So only a few months younger than Jess!

Ahhh Fettes College, that's a private school through in Edinburgh. No Becci's new school is just a short drive along the road in Bearsden (suburb of Glasgow).

Did you all think that Becci was older than your girlies, there were alot of :faint: 's :confused3 ?
