lady is in the '50's section, although i'm not sure which building. but there's only 3 buildings and they're all relatively close. so i bet if you request the '50's section you'd be fine. pop is actually a really cool place to stay. nothing like the deluxes but still really fun! just be sure to bring your own fridge and/or coffeemaker if you need it or get in on a swap.

'50s it is! I know I am going to cry when I see her in person. I joined a fridge/coffee swap the minute I decided we'd stay there. It's funny: Gab is looking most forward to AKV and Chloe and Josh are freaking out over the Pop! Michael is loving the look of OKW and I am just freaked about all three!

we know it'll be either february or june. i wouldn't discount december as we've gone in december before. it really depends on whether derek lets wendy pull erin and dylan out of school.

Pulling the kids out is Jenna's worry too. She's so goood.

It's crazy that I haven't been home in a couple of years but there is a lot of baggage when visiting home. WDW is farther but it's Disney sans guilt. But our plan is December 2010 with Jenna's family. We'll be road trippin' if she'll allow her kids to miss.

I've stayed at value, moderate, deluxe and vacation club villas. I would stay at any of them. I love Pop.

I know you do and I have read a few reports and poured over the photos and just fell in love with it. Sure the Poly is my dream but if the Poly means a short trip or no trip, then I'll stay content with just passing through.

I have some friends working there and they invited me to come visit during their holiday..so I said "what the heck?"...I'm leaving in 3 weeks Not one ounce of planning. I gotta put it in high gear...I wasn't sure I was going to get a travel visa as I had to put down that I work at a church....but all worked out and i got my china travel visa on Friday...

when i say december i'm talking about december 2010. as of right now, we're not going back until then. but i can't complain - i got to go to disney world 5 times in two years. that's more than a lot of people can say! i need a break honestly. i know that's like sacreligious around here but i've had my fill. i figure around june i'll start having withdrawals and change my attitude. the reason for our long hiatus is that we're starting a family. we don't know exactly when though - i'm thinking we'll start trying maybe this summer. but that's not set in stone yet. ray promised me we can stay at WL when we go back in december 2010. i think we'll probably try to buy DVC points and stay at VWL. that seems smarter to me. it's a long ways off but that's our plan!

i really didn't intend to go so often! our first trip back in 15 years was may 2007. then i took my friend for her 30th birthday in september 2007 (when i met you). then ray and i went back for a regular vacation in april 2008. then my AP didn't expire until 9/22/08 and they offered free dining again, so i HAD to grab that deal! then my friend anna talked us into going in december to see the christmas decorations and staying off site to save money. so it just sort of ended up that way! but i had a blast on EVERY trip and i'm glad i went all those times. i'm not TIRED of it yet - just don't mind taking a break.

thanks! you're so sweet! my biggest frustration now is health insurance. i have really crappy insurance because i'm self-employed and i have to pay for it on my own. it's basically there in case something major happens. it costs so much to add me to ray's plan, so i don't have maternity coverage. it's really frustrating - i make too much to get any help and i make too little to afford it on my own! i'm hoping mr. obama will end up reforming that a little bit. but i don't expect anything to happen any time soon. he's got too many problems to deal with as far as the economy goes! so i'm rearranging some things financially and i'm hoping to be able to add myself to ray's insurance this spring. we'll see!

You are wise to consider your health insurance. Even with a perfect pregnancy and birth the bills are astounding let alone if even the tiniest thing were to go awry. Take my Chloe, perfect c-section birth but a section nonetheless. The surgery bill alone, without the meds or md's was over $10,000.

I'll keep you and Ray in my thoughts. I admire you getting things in order first. That's got to be hard.

I am not going to work from home. There is only so much I can do. Our crisis coordinator is going to do my job. Another SW will be late due to weather and our unit is full so it's going to be busy for them. But there is nothing I can do.


I don't blame you having DH drive you to work. It's just keeps snowing and snowing. I can't say this is the worst day to be home sick. I think we are supposed to have a break Wed. and Thurs. and then snow again Friday.

He worse off than I am. They are so pitiful when they are sick. Gab was really sick NYD and the next but bounced back. It was just a matter of time. Plus I have so many coworkers who are sick- the hospital is a germ cocktail.

It really is awful when they're sick hopefully he'll bounce back as quickly as Gab did.

I'm just counting the hours until Niamh goes back to nursery . I know that sounds awful but she just has too much energy and it's too cold to take her outside and run off the excess just now . Just had a very embarrassing moment just there ... Niamh has told her baby doll "If you don't start behaving yourself I will skelp (spank) your bum my lady!!!" . OOPS...she must have heard that from daddy or some other such coarse person .

She must have heard it on tv and not in your pure household. I remember those toddler days. They need those few hours a day to torment someone other than their mommies.

He just ate a little and is playing the DS but he's restless. Watches tv for a minute, then closes his eyes, than fidgets again, the changes the channel...........................
