Oh Macushla, you're having a really rotten time When I feel that lousy I take a Lemsip with a shot of gin in it (it's my version of a hot toddy 'cos I HATE whiskey). I know it's difficult when the wee ones are poorly too but you really need to go to bed as soon as Michael can take over skivvy duties from you.

Jenna & Nate's Adults-Only Trip to WDW

So let's go back to Christmas when we were visiting Jenny.......

On our way out to Utah, Nate realizes and says to me, "Oh *bleep*, I forgot to pack your Christmas presents." So I tell him, "No problem. All you have to do is write on a slip of paper that you are taking me to Disney in June, by ourselves." Did I get that? Nope!

Fast forward to the past few weeks when I've been harping to Nate about how I reallllllly need a trip to Disney! I finally wore him down!!!! My powers of persuasion worked wonders!!!

So why June? I know, it is definitely not an ideal time in my book. We went in the beginning of June two years ago to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Nate's mom and sister came over and watched the kids for us b/c Jon was still in school. Nate's mom works for a school, but her district got out earlier than ours. So she was able to watch the kids for us. This year, it looks like our schools will dismiss around the same as hers (depending on snow days) so we will take the kids to her before we leave. (His parents live about 5 hours west of us in Western PA.) Now, Nate hasn't asked them about watching the kids yet. I'm sure it won't be a problem, but still, we are putting the cart before the horse!

Oh, one thing I forgot as I was scheming about this trip...... My mom works for JC Penney in the furniture department. One day I stopped to see her at work and as I was leaving I saw what I am convinced was a sign! On a coffee table, there was a sign (literally) reading "Boardwalk Studio." When I was looking at the points charts, a studio at the Boardwalk was my first choice. I came home all excited and told Nate. He was like . But guess what? When I called to make my ressie I got my Boardwalk studio!!!

It's going to be an awesome trip!!!!! I think it's so cool for you guys to go alone for a few days. You'll get to enjoy parts of the parks you might usually have to skim over or miss completely. Now tell us about the ADRs!

A grown up trip is something that's not going to happen for us until the chickies are all grown up (and even then they'll probably try to scam a free holiday with the wrinklies ) I love my kids to bits but doin' Disney just the two of us is a big dream of mine that I'd sell Donny's soul for.....I would offer the Devil mine but I'm sure he'd think it's coming his way at sometime for free anyway

Still feeling like $hit. I don't remember the last time I had the flu like this. I did eat some Ramen broth today and had a wicked caffeine withdraw headache so I had a 1/2 c of coffee. Thus far I have kept it down. for asking. DH has been home the last two days but has to go back to work tomorrow so I am just going to veg today. Do you have anything exciting planned for this weekend?

I've got a dvd of a dramatisation of Ballet Shoe by Noel Streatfield (my fav book when I was a wee girl) and a bottle of gin so I'm set for later on . I'm currently trying to organise a poster for a Fairtrade Pancake stall my Sunday school class are running tomorrow . I don't know why I do these things, I try to get the kids thinking of ways they can help those not as lucky as themselves and then I get myself tied up in knots when they come up with great ideas that need organising . Fingers crossed for me that everything goes to plan and we don't end up poisoning the entire congregation

Is he still cross? No amount of sex would uncross him. He's not being super sweet. Plus we found out that our tax return won't be even half of what we thought. My working has bumped us into the next tax bracket. Like Jenna says, just another great argument for staying home.

Rome!!! Oh I am so jealous!!! Epcot is about the closest I've ever come to Europe. If I can overcome my fear of flying, I'm so there!!
