I never thought about having Jo pull some strings. Can you imagine the requests?

I've just spent the weekend back home as all my cousins were going out, they were all very excited about my WDW job and when they found out they could send in questions they got a bit carried away, they've decided to make it a competition to get the rudest question through the filters I think at my training I'll have to add my maiden name to the filter

Oh my Sister has leant me loads of her summer clothes for my trip, capris, tops, skirts etc so has saved me a ton of money

Thanks for the commiserations girls but to be honest I'm not really that bothered about the job....I had enough of working with alchoholics and drug addicts when I worked in the travel industry . I'm just looking on this interview and the one on Tuesday as practice for when I go for a job that I've actually got a chance of getting .

BTW Donny's having a BIG change of heart about switching the 2009 trip to August ....just got to speak to the other family involved to work out if A-they are still intending going to WDW next year (as they have voiced some doubts due to the pound vs dollar rate) and B-if they are are they wanting to stick to Jun/Jul or change over to August I'm going skelly just thinking about it

So are you wanting to change to June? You'd get the 4/3 deal if you do! Heck, you'd get it in May as well. What are the free dining dates?

Yeah that's why Donny's pushing that they make the decision over their plans by the end of this week so that we can get the booking made. The problem with the other family is that they faff about quite a bit and we need a quick decision . If it all goes ahead we'll book through WDWUK, I'll get confirmed friends & family tickets (BTW next time you're looking for tickets let me know and I may be able to get you a cheap deal ) through BA and we'll just have to take the pain of losing the deposit with Virgin Holidays .

Yep, if you stay delux you get free DDP if you stay at a Mod you get free QSDP. Either way you're eating free for two weeks

The other family HOPEFULLY should let us know pretty soon as the offer ends 02Dec, then we've got to deal with telling Donny's DBro (they have booked a villa for the first week of July to be there when we are )

The ADR system should be up by Dec. 22 so it won't affect your 180 days at all. Lucky girl! I swear I am stalking the Restaurant ADR Announcement sticky thread.

I have a feeling that neither him nor his wife will be too jazzed and I'm a bit uncomfortable about this . Donny on the other hand couldn't give a toot . I don't know if they will change or not, I don't realy see them having any probs changing their reservation as it's Donny's DS-in-law's sisters friend that owns the villa but then it's down to changing leave dates at work and if they are not to pissed off with us

Well that's good they won't lose any money as far as the villa. Ya know, crap happens, you got offered a better deal. You have to take it. If Big D doesn't care, then you shouldn't worry either. Free dining rocks!!!!! We'll have the DDP for 5 days and then we'll be on our own the last three.

Remember though that it's quite cheap (and worth it IMO) to upgrade the QSDP to DDP so you could stay Mod instead of deluxe!

I'm with you on that..I've given the mum a page with all the details on it, costs for accommodation, flights, etc. but I have a feeling that they're going to turn round and say they've had second thoughts about going. The mum was going to run the details by her other half tonight and she said she'd email me back in the next couple of days re what they want to do.

On another note, how did you find it going early August? Is it as busy as end June/beginning July, is the weather worse than then? Any other details you want to share honey would be much appreciated

Kirsteen we've always gone mid to late August normally arriving about 12th and we've never been in July. It's busy but not ridiculous and if you go early do rope drops etc you'll be fine, also being so hot you must take a pool/nap break everyday and drink loads, or if like this year just get stuck in a hurricane and have empty parks and no use for suncream
