Yay!!!They did!! Flights on time without issue. Gab was beat and I cannot believe she went to school today. She said if she didn't she knows M would have made her clean.

We saw his ped yesterday so that we could get a referral to a pediatric cardio. They re-did his EKG. They found that he has frequent premature ventricular complexes. Basically, an extra heartbeat stemming from the ventricle of the heart. His are frequent and come in 2's and 3's. They immediately called the cardio and faxed him the EKG. He is going to see JOn in a few weeks. Thank G*d that it is not something that is immediately dangerous. But, depending on the testing and the cause of the arrythmia, they could do anything from nothing, to medicate, to surgery.
The doctor's words:
"Wow. What an interesting case. Color me intrigued. But, I need to see him as soon as possible."

Sweetie, I am so sorry and can totally empathize! The waiting is total garbage! I am glad he's not in danger but hate when the docs sound perplexed.

You aren't Flatsy Patsy so I am sure she'll be busty. Please don't let her know we are talking about her ****ies. 
If we are able to spilt then we'll do the DDP for the first half, if we are unable to manage a split stay then we'll skip the DDP and have to decide on what TS we have to have! Right now, if we are without the DDP, it's looking like Restaurant Marakkesh and Le Cell will be our main TS. We also need to figure out a character meal now that the LTT won't have Mickey and the gang. We were 100% set on LTT, go figure. 
I am not ashamed to say that I will continue to try to convince her to stay the whole time.

We are hoping for now a possible split stay between the OKW and AKV.
The first night we'll be off property and will be having dinner at T-Rex Cafe! We have also decided to do Beaches and Cream and Sci-Fi both OOP even we are on the DDP because we can enjoy them both for fairly cheap and neither are a great DDP value.
As far as length of stay, my plan is to stay until 5/20 and Jenna's dates are still up in the air but she's thinking they'll stay Monday, 5/18, and start back that evening.

Sounds great. I have a bit of a hankering for AKL but Big D recons it's too far away from everything and also with the other family being a "Party of 5" we would need to look into renting DVC points and wouldn't get our discounted rate. Anyway that's got nowt to do with you guys, I'm just rambleing....split stay OKW & AKV sounds fabby. Are you going to try to get the Grand Villas for each resort?
Is there any characters that have to be at your character meal?

OKW and I love how peaceful it seems. It would be fun to split though. I like the idea of the DDP for only part of the trip; 10 days is just far too long and waaaaaay too much food.

We always end up with loads of CS and Snack credits left, we still have boxes of gobstoppers in the cupboard and the last couple of days we bought croissants which is a really bad use of a CS but better than paying OOP or leaving the credits unused
You wouldn't need to rent points, I believe the AK fits 5 in a standard room.
I had a look at the AKL thread and it said only 4 per room, we would love it if it were 5 as Niamh LOVES animals and I'm sure the two younger kids in the other family would be into the beasties too...maybe I'll do more investigating
We are looking at the GV for OKW and a 2 bedroom at AKL. The points would be less at AKL. Nate

Don't you feel so full by like the 6th day? We did and had so many credits leftover. I just can't imagine doing it for 10 days. The job that I want closes for applications on Friday so fingers crossed. I put my CV on Monster.com and someone phoned me today and practically begged me to go for an interview for their charity next week. Now you know me well enough to know I don't have the best self image on the planet so this gave me a real boost unfortunately the job is full time and a bit of a treck to get to so I politely refused. Say a wee prayer for me getting the PT charity administrator job, it's 30hrs a week and a 10min drive from my house (I could even walk if I felt like the exercise). It's so perfect that knowing my luck I'll not even get an interview
The charity job sounds perfect!!!! I will say a wee prayer that you land it!!!! What sort of charity? Everyone says it's so far but I don't get it. 
We stayed at the POR and couldn't walk to anywhere from there.
It's a social charity. They provide person centred support to people who have complex needs e.g. alcohol and drug addiction, learning disabilities, homelessness, Huntington's/Dementia/brain injury and mental health issues (I'll need to stop refering to the ex as "the nutter", "the looney" and "psycho dad" to name but a few

It sounds very interesting. We get a lot of said population on our unit. I sure hope you get it. It sounds right up your alley. You do have 1st hand experience with the nutters.
