IMHO that's just setting her up for failure. Right? Right! Tells me he's not going to inconvenience his aunt by asking her to drive all over town. Now remember her home is less than 10 miles from Gab's hotel. And in Arlington/the 3 corners, there has to be a bazillion stores in between. So I say, borrow her car or have your dad borrow it but someone get her a camera, I mean isn't that why he's there, in case stuff goes wrong? Doesn't that look like Vera Bradley?

Thanks sweetie. It's been a bittersweet day. I did speak with DH but not about last night. He told me that his dad is allowing Gab to use his camera and I didn't ask anything about it. We surface chatted for a few and that was it. Ain't marriage grand sometimes? I have been waiting for Jen to chime in with her there are reasons I am not married. I feel very helpless. DH is close but not the pillar of info I was hoping for. I am wishing I made the trek to DC too. On the upside of today, Jenna said that her and Nate are going to try and stay for our entire trip and not leave Saturday night!!! This makes me very happy. 
But of course, the planning is on hold until she is allowed to make her DVC reservation in less than 4 weeks. I am far too spazzy for this. I found a super nice couple to rent points from too and now have had to put them on hold. 
I feel so bakey flakey. Maybe I have been partaking in the weed.

Hello and thank you!!!! DH's point, I am guessing was that he didn't want to ask to take their car but gimme a break, like they would have cared. I have never cared when a guest needs our car. We need to decide which ADRs are a must. I love your big meal lunch idea. Breakfast we'll do in the room. Even with a 2 bedroom, they'll be plenty of room to cook if we don't score the GV. It'll be like camping but with amenities. 
She's having a blast. Michael gave her $40 more last night when he dropped off the camera. Good on him! She told me all of the souvenirs she's bought. She bought me 2 Obama items. She got Joshua a lamp thing from the space museum. She got Chloe a Capitol snow globe, and she got grandpa an I Heart Washington DC and Grandpa mug. Who knew they sold such a thing? 
That's my Gab. Still haven't heard much about her roomies but they are always there when she calls because I can hear them on their phones in the background. Bleh. She said she fell asleep. They went out to dinner again. I was under the impression they ate all of their dinners at the hotel but again, she said everything takes longer than they plan. She also bought some "patriotic" candies for everyone. She's

I will post new/old pics asap! That sounds like an AWESOME trip Gab is on. My niece just turned 10 and I can't imagine her being grown-up enough to be in DC by herself. Do they grow up that much between 10 and 11? You must have quite a young lady on your hands.
