if someone cancels adr for 3 can I book for 4?

So does anyone know how the tables sizes for adrs work at BOG?! If someone cancels an adr for 3 would it be at the same size as a table for 4? Meaning that whole table would open up and I could coordinate book it for four? Or does the system go by exact numbers of people openings? I'm going to book it regardless but should I chance it and choose to book for 3 and add one later if possible. Or should I choose 4 in the choice options hoping that the cancelation for allows me to choose to book for 4?

Maybe. It can depend on so many factors, nobody could say for certain in any one circumstance. Some restaurants have tables for three. Some might book up to capacity and worry about arranging tables later.

That being said, I have been able to cancel a reservation for 3 and subsequently book for four immediately afterwards.

Ok thanks so when I coordinate a time to pick up the adr I'll have my computer logged in and choose table for 4 and my tablet logged in to choose 3. And hopefully I can snag it either way. Does this sound like a good plan?

I've experimented looking for different sized parties at BOG and the same time slot will pop up for a party of 3 or 4, a party of 5 or 6, and so on. Also, the system prefers even numbered parties.
