The main problem I have with having Miley or the Jonas Bros hosting this ride is that they are not in the category of Rock & Roll. I'm not sure what people classify their music-"Tween Pop"??? Not sure how much fun a "Tween Pop" Coaster would be....it actually sounds like more of a nightmare to me-ugh :sad2:!

Seems like those kids are starting to phase out of their popularity anyways......R&R Coaster should be a tribute to a band that has really lasted across time and several generations.

I also say Queen would be pretty awesome. "Stone Cold Crazy" would be a killer song to use. I voted for KISS. They have their name on everything else, why not a roller coaster.

I like the idea that others have had of making it a variety...customizable.

Have a staging room before the studio where each group votes (presses a button) to select the band. Then you meet that band in studio and hear their songs during the waiting/riding. Even the Beatles could be done w/ current technology, it's just a video it's not like it's interactive. They could even have portraits, posters etc. along the queue change to the current artist/band as you move through the line (via computer images). And for the ride photo, have a band member superimposed seated next to you.

And imagine the (fun?) ride when you happen to be in line with a bunch of teenage girls or a Brazilian tour group...

OK, I know it would be difficult to get many bands to agree to do it, but I bet plenty of them would.

Ooh QUEEN! Yeah, Miley and Jonas? Rock n Roll? :confused3 Besides, think you want a stand the test of time band, along with decades of entertainment. Maybe Metallica? Hmm, maybe that is too Metal. ACDC? Maybe Led Zepplin after all?
Och, I think they really hit the nail on the head with Aerosmith.

KISS. Not my favorite band listed (Queen is my all time favorite) but those guys will put their name on ANYTHING to make a buck. (Anybody remember the KISS Casket? The wonderfully horrible "Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park" movie?) Plus, they are just edgy enough to make it fun, but not too edgy where it would be completely un-Disney-like.

None of the above.
I agree, this list is missing quite a few good choices.

I would like to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, my 14 year old son votes for KISS, Ozzy would be out of control fun.
Tom Petty would be awesome!!!! Running Down a Dream?! How freaking perfect would that be?!

I will play along since we know this is not going to happen and neither would my suggestion of some Canadian content that most Americans have never heard of The Tragically Hip:worship: Shock me USA if you have heard of them!

Check it out. The song is called courage and it would be perfect for a ride:thumbsup2

I know the Hip! Saw them once too when they crossed the border and ventured into NY. :lmao: They were good. :)

So my final choices would be (in order):

1) Tom Petty
2) Queen
3) U2

AC/DC... Kick it off with a little "For those about to rock" before launch. "Highway to Hell" as embark from zero to 60... Then maybe finish it off with a little "Who Made Who".

Of course Ozzy's "Crazy Train" so apply.

I'd personally like to see a Grateful Dead themed ride....change the limos to VW Buses. Pipe in some "authentic" smells. Sell grilled cheeses in the queue line.

If not, just keep Aerosmith. :goodvibes

I'd love to shop that gift shop..."baked" goodies, tye dye...etc let your mind take you for that ride.

Nooo, they should never replace Aerosmith!! I love Aerosmith!

I am shocked that they use the song F.I.N.E on the ride though! I love the song but it is not disney friendly:rotfl:

Talk about inappropriate...do you think Disney knows the meaning of Pink, they play that in line while waiting for the ride. My Ex-Husband so eagerly noticed it playing. I found it humorous, but amazing just the same. Maybe they think it's just a song about a pretty color.
