A boat ride on the Douro past Portuguese landmarks like the Luis I bridge and the Belem Tower (yes, I know that's in Lisbon). A tile making experience. Port tasting. An excellent restaurant with bacalhau, polvo, and of course pastel de nata.

Every time I try to explain Sintra to people, it's always like, "Imagine a Disney castle on the top of a mountain..."

pasties de nata, filhos, bifana sandwiches, chourica sandwiches sardines grilled , all on fresh portuguese rolls.. a nice sit down restaurant with the best portuguese dishes and flan for dessert. a boat ride for sure down the coast of portugal ending in the algarve! come on disney make it happen!
