If only two days at the parks...Disneyland on Sunday or Monday??

We are going to be at the parks next week, Sunday and Monday...only 2 days! Should we go to Disneyland on Sunday or Monday. We will do California Adventure the opposite day. Just want the less busy day for Disneyland. Or won't it really matter??

I would check the schedule to see if the fireworks will be shown both nights. If they are shown on Monday, then I would do Disneyland on Monday.

Fireworks are every night so you're good there. I might do Monday at DL also. It's an EMH day for DCA so it might be slightly more crowded over there?

I would always choose doing to DL on a weekday vs a weekend but looking at the calendar the CA Select Annual Pass is blocked on Sunday so maybe DL won't be so bad. The other APs aren't blocked though. Both days are EMH for DCA and hours are the same for both days so I guess that doesn't help decide either. Basically what I'm saying is I'm no help lol!!! Even with the AP block on Sunday I still think I would choose to go to DL on Mon.

We have gone that week every year for the last 4 out of 5 years. That week, those weekdays are the last few days that the Southern California Select AP holders get for the entire summer. They are already blocked on the weekend. Every year that we have gone, that Sunday has been great as far as crowds, and that Monday has been very crowded. It has been a huge difference between that Saturday and Sunday which were very nice and manageable in terms of crowds, and that Monday and Tuesday, which have been very crowded in comparison to the weekend. I would expect that Monday to be even worse this year with the 60th celebration just kicking off and the new Parade, fireworks and WOC. I would think those AP holders are really going to try to get there to see that nighttime entertainment before they are blocked. If I were you, I would consider hoppers and doing the things that get the most crowded in both parks on Sunday. If not, I would say if the parade and fireworks are important to you that I would do DL on Sunday. As the parade and fireworks are brand new, they will still be packed, but based on our past experience I think they will be much worse on Monday.

The So Cal Select pass is always blocked on Sundays. If you have hoppers, start Sunday morning in DL, then hop when it starts to pick up around noon. If you have 1 park per day I'd do DL on Monday. Sunday afternoons have become the hangout day. It's not as big of a deal in DCA which has more open spaces.
