Well Ruben won last year, which *really* made me mad (you did not want to be in my house that day ), but I'm still watching this year.

As for this year, my mom says if Fantasia wins, she forbids anyone from watching it next year! Well not really forbidding us, but she won't be watching and doesn't want us watching in the room with her.

Fantasia doesn't bother me as much as Diana and George. Well George seems like a nice person, but I cannot stand his voice, it's so blah and sounds just like Ruben and we don't need another Ruben winning. As much as I don't like some of the singers, I will still be watching next year no matter what.

Is it just me or does it seem like George is a fry short of a happymeal. He seems like such a nice guy and I love hisvoice but his mannerism are that of a 4 year old. I don't think he'snormal or maybe he is ADHD

What you said is exactly why I no longer watch AI combined with the fact that I got tired of my favorite coming in 2nd place... too emotional for me to deal with! Silly sounding I know, but when you get your heart set on someone from day one and they "lose" it really starts to get to you. I figure if they are truly good, I will hear about them after the show as well so I won't miss out. Then again this also saves me from having to hear the really bad singers too

And yes, I did intentionally neglect to tell you which one of the AI singers that have won was my "least favorite"

He does seem a little goofy, but I think that's why I like him. He's got that REALLY down to earth thing going on. Of course, if he becomes the AI, we can only hope he stays that way. Think Clay Aiken - a class act (and he wasn't EVEN the AI).

I really don't totally dislike anyone this year, nor do I really LIKE anyone...sort of on the fence with a lot of them. The two I really disliked are gone and there is still Camille, who will probably be gone soon.

As for George, I think his ways are quirky but adorable. Remember when he first auditioned Simon said he looked too "OLD". Since then he's been pushing the "young" envelope.

I prefer his joyful, childlike behavior to Camille's deer in headlights shell shocked expression anyday!

does anybody see the resemblance to gary coleman when they look at george???? (hes not my favorite but i he does have a fairly good voice) from the very beginning i thought it would be latoya, but shes got one thing against her--------her age and maturity...

Yes, I will still watch. Clay has been my favorite contestant ever and even though he didn't win the AI title... I think we all know who the real winner is! lol I'm rooting for Fantasia this time around. I like her unique voice and enthusiasm, but if she doesn't win, I'll still be tuning in!

I agree with you there.....the first time I saw him I thought there couldn't be a goofier looking person around, he sang alright but man is he a STRANGE looking dude! I do think that Ruben sounds better than Clay though.
