If one doesn't show for a meal that has a CC guarantee??

What would happen? I can't get the reservation changed from 2 to 1. One person on this ADR will not be making the trip.

They will charge you whatever the penalty is for that restaurant - I think it's in the $10-20 range for CRT, for example.

I'm not sure about the paid in full dinner shows - whether there's a small charge like that, or if you forfeit the entire price for the person.

What particular place are you asking about - that would probably help with someone giving you the specific answer you need.

I believe The California Grill was $25 in January but I can't guarantee this as we did not miss our reservation.

From personal experience I can tell you that if you show up one person short, your credit card will be charged. This happened to us last Sept, when we showed up one short at Akershus.
