I recently had weight loss surgery and am trying to decide if the DDP will benefit us.
Can I share a meal with my child at a TS restaurant?
I've read that all QS meals are treated equal (adult vs child). Are TS treated the same way?

You cannot use a child TS credit on an adult TS meal, no.

At non-buffet or AYCTE restaurants, most will let you share a plate. But the child TS credit must be used on a child TS meal.

You can share at most TS restaurants where you order from a menu, but the one exception is Via Napoli where you cannot use one credit to feed two or more people. However, on the DDP you can only order from the kids' menu when using a child credit. If you are planning to share a lot you will have probably have many credits left in which case it might be better to skip the DDP and pay out of pocket. You can look at menus on allears, wdwinfo or the Disney website to figure out whether the DDP would benefit your family or not.

You cannot share and everyone will be charged at buffets (e.g Crystal Palace, Boma), all you care to eat family style meals (e.g. 'Ohana, Garden Grill), the three dinner shows and fixed price meals (e.g. Cinderella's Royal Table and Akershus), Fantasmic and Candlelight Processional Packages and special events (e.g fireworks dessert party).
