If my resort stay is on points but cruise is cash how do I do insurance??

Question for all of the DIS Pro's out there....

We are going on a cruise which we paid cash for, but we are book-ending our stay w/ 2 nights pre and 2 nights post cruise at BWV using points. Will I have to do 2 seperate vacation insurance policies for this??

There are some outside companies that sell travel insurance, maybe look into one of those...

Yes. When we did back-to-back cruises (one on points & one on cash) we had to purchase 2 different insurances. Most insurance companies do not insure timeshares on a cash basis. You will have to insure your DVC stay thru the insurance broker that DVC sent you (usually gets you around $5 per point coverage) then contact another company like thru insuremytrip.com or something for the cruise.
