Floor Cleaner Bottled Like Sports Drink

DALLAS -- A floor cleaner bottled like a sports drink is causing some confusion and concern among North Texas parents.
"That definitely smells like a sugary drink," parent Greg Goin said.
Parents playing with their children at White Rock Lake in Dallas have never seen Fabuloso before. They were surprised it's a multi-use cleaner by the packaging.
"It looks like, to me, some fruit punch," parent Jose Lyons said.
"The kids are hot and sweaty. I thought you would say, Hey, we got these new sports drinks to try. Now, it's a cleaner. This smells like a Jolly Rancher," Goin said.
Fabuloso not only resembles a sports drink, but it's also easy to open.
"Even on the Windex and 409, it's got the things where you have to line up or else the things won't come out. Well, this is a twist-off top," Goin said.
"Anything that looks that good you got to keep locked up," Dr. James Wheeler of Harris Methodist HEB Pediatrics said.
Dr. Wheeler said the label doesn't say what chemicals are used, but that bleach or ammonia would be the most harmful if swallowed.
"Something like a mild cleaner often can cause some irritation, vomiting, diarrhea or just discomfort for the child," he said.
"I can only imagine all of the chemicals and whatnot in it. A small kid could get a hold of this and it could be catastrophic," parent Jose Lyons said.

Why, thank you!
