If it takes running to get me to Disney than I better start running PTR 5 DAYS TO GO!

I think the idea of "playing" on all three golf courses is a good one. But where are there three? I know of Fantasia and Winter Wonderland; what is the third one?

I'm sorry you still aren't getting all your sleep.

Please be safe my friend.

There is Fantasia Gardens and Winter/Summerland. Winter/ Summerland has 2 courses. A summer course and a winter course. Both are similar yet different.

I was wondering about the three mini golf courses, too, but that makes sense. I think renting a car with a toddler is a great idea. When I'm at Disney with my boys, sometimes it makes a huge difference to have a car.

I don't think I'd enjoy running at 5:30, either. We've been training for the race, too, but we usually run in the evening, a little before the boys go to bed. I'm hoping training at night isn't going to make running in the morning difficult during the race.

While I just love Disney transportation - a rental car on your short and busy trip might be the best route to go - the guys can golf, you can run to DTD, the waterparks, etc. SO much quicker than dealing with the buses. Plus not lugging a stroller onto a bus is priceless IMO! :laughing:

Can you believe your trip is so soon??!?! :yay::yay::yay:

I did finally decide to book us a rental car.

We made the same decision. We never get a rental car and don't mind relying on Disney transportation at all but sometimes, it's just necessary! AND you can drive to AK on race morning so we can sleep in a TAD bit longer that morning.... ;)

I think you need more sleep..... don't we all? :rolleyes1 :lmao::lmao:

Wow... I can't believe you are 30 days away! :woohoo::woohoo:

WTG with the rental car. I think that is a smart decision. ::yes::

I agree but we probably will still use the buses if the boys don't want to take afternoon breaks. Atleast we have options now.

::yes:: On sleeping in a little bit. I'm SOOOO not looking forward to waking the family inorder to get to AK by 6:15 am. :scared1: I'm going to have a few pirate: grumpy pirates to deal with.

Sleep is overrated. :lmao: I hope you and Mel are getting some with your new cutey pie Prince around.

14 Days to go!:banana::banana::banana::cool1::cool1::cool1:and I'm so not prepared. I got suckered in to helping out with Jack's school's Fall Festival again this year. Even tho I told them NO! I still was appointed head of the games and prizes.:sad2:I actually have enjoyed this task in the past as it requires a lot of shopping on my part. I'm good at shopping, just ask my DH:rotfl: But this time I'd rather be shopping for Disney and not the FF which takes place the Saturday after we come home from Disney. This means I have to have everything done before we leave.:headache: Oh Joy!

I have managed to get a few Disney related tasks completed. I placed our Garden grocer order on Monday and rebooked our rental car for $100 less than what I had previously booked:thumbsup2. I bought the kids new DVD players and Dvds, and tootsie rolls for the plane( Jack won't chew gum). I've made Jack a Pressed penny roll and Meadow a Stroller tag. I also had bought neon for Meadow's stroller when I thought we were going to MNNSHP. I think I still might used it at night tho. It's really kinda cool. I also cut 4in off my hair and stocked up on Keratin hair products in preperation for the Florida heat and humidity. That's it so far. I really need to start tthinking about packing. We don't have any soccer games this weekend and only 2 parties which are back to back. Packing might just happen(fingers crossed)

Did I mention 14 more days!:banana::banana::banana:

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: for fourteen days.

I haven't seen you on the boards, and was beginning to wonder what happened to you.

I can't remember how many times I said NO to the school and ended up doing it. It got to the point, I just said yes as it was easier. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Great job on the car rental decrease.

I hope you get some packing done this weekend.

I have been mostly just lurking on the boards lately. Meadow has been cutting her top 2 eye teeth and has been up A LOT during the night. Honestly it has been difficult for me to put together a complete thought that makes any sense :lmao: One has broken though and she has slept the last 2 nights, hence the work I have gotten done on the trip. Yup, did that all in 1 day (except the stroller stuff). I'm really praying the other tooth breaks through before we leave or waits until after we get back to start pushing again. I don't want a miserable toddler at Disney. No good for anyone.

Oh, and I have recently discovered Glee. Been watching old episodes at night before bed. I've been trying to watch all of season 1 and 2 before season 3 starts next week.:lmao: So that is why I have been MIA lately. I need to catch up. There are good ideas out there to discover.:thumbsup2

5 DAYS!!!!!

I'm getting soooo excited! And my running has been practically non-existent since school started so I might be walking this 5K!

A stroller tag! I knew I was forgetting to do something.

Not much longer now!! :banana:

Glad I could help. Your thread actually reminded me that I need to get our vinylmations for trading together. I think Jack only has 4 that he wants to trade. I might end up making some purchases and hoping for more duplicates just so he has more to trade. :rotfl:

Totally getting excited!:cool1: You'll do fine on the run. It's just for fun(or an excuse to go to Disney ;)) anyway. I'm going to try my best not to walk at all, but it may happen. I want lots of pictures and I'm not sure if DH can pull it off. Great husband, lousy photographer. :lmao:

5 DAYS! :cool1::banana::woohoo::yay:
I'm getting really excited and a little panick stricken all at once. The stomach bug is going around Jack's class like wild fire.:scared1: I'm preaching hand washing and driving him crazy. I had to send him to school today because he has 3 tests, but they have off on Monday and we leave on Wednesday, so I think I'm going to keep him home on Tuesday too. What's 1 more day right? Does that make me a bad mom? His school work has been really easy(almost insultingly easy actually)so I'm not too concerned with him getting behind. I just really want this trip to be fun for everyone. It's the 1st "real" family vacation we have taken in 3 years. WAY over due.

I have also been seriously second guessing alot of my plans. There is so much we want to do and definitely not enough time. I can't imagine not going to MK on Wed. That won't change. But Thursday has me confused. We have planned Epcot in the morning, nap , then DHS and Fantasmic at night. I wanted to do a Kim Possible Mission at Epcot, but that may get scrapped so we can get an earlier nap. We have a 5:15 ADR at Mama Melrose. Jack really wants to meet Phineas and Ferb. They are only out until 7. He also wants to ride TSM which will probably have to be by standby. I really think Meadow would enjoy the Disney Jr. show. Last show is at 5:50 which means we would need to see it before our ADR. I'm not sure I can get the family to DHS by 4ish. I will have to drang them out of the pool kicking and sreaming, I'm sure. Not really willing to do that. Confused, but I guess I need to just go with the flow. ;)

Five days!!! Hooray!! :cool1::banana::yay:

I don't think you are a bad mom for taking Jack out of school an extra day, because I would probably do the same thing :laughing: Keep him healthy! Nothing is worse than being sick on a Disney trip. I'll cross my fingers for no contagion.

I think short trips are really tough, especially with young ones. You want to fit everything in, and make sure that everyone has a magical experience, but sometimes it is just not possible. Just remember that it is often the most unexpected times and little things that make the best Disney memories. So if you don't make it to Phineus and Ferb and Disney Junior because your kids are having a blast in the pool, you are still having a wonderful time and making priceless memories. I know your trip is going to be awesome, and that you are going to do a great job balancing everyone's wants and needs with spontaneity, its what Moms do, right? :hug:

Thank You! :hug: You are absolutely right!

So I have this knack of posting on people's PTRs just days before they leave.... :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I know exactly what you are talking about. :rolleyes:

I agree.. take him out on Tuesday as well... maybe you should notify the school today incase there is any extra work they need to give Jack when he misses the extra day. :confused3

There are some hard decisions here... I'd say go with the flow but we can never do that when we go. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Welcome Back! Let me know when you start your PTR!

Welcome Back! Let me know when you start your PTR!

I'm knee deep into Holy Cross Fall Festival stuff right now. I haven't even unpacked yet. Probably won't be until next week sometime. Honestly, I'm not even sure I took enough pictures to do a good TR. DS hates it when I take tons of pics and he was having so much fun. I didn't want to spoil him moments.
