If it takes running to get me to Disney than I better start running PTR 5 DAYS TO GO!

How kind of you! :rotfl2::rotfl2: :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I think you have a good idea of what Mama Melrose is like from my TR.... We have never eaten at Rain Forest or Whispering Canyon for breakfast so I can't help you there but Crystal Palace breakfast is awesome and with an 8:20 ADR you should be on an empty Main St. Unless the park opens before 8 (which I doubt in October). Make sure you get some of the puffed french toast at CP- I think they try to hide it on the kids buffet. :goodvibes:goodvibes

We have eaten at Mama Melrose before and have enjoyed. If I remember right the kids can write on the walls there too ? I'll have to remember a sharpie.

Rain Forest is OK. Jack liked it when we ate lunch there. I was just looking for an available breakfast ADR for after the 5K.

Whispering Canyon looks like fun. I have tried to get a dinner ressie but have not had any luck so I'm settling on breakfast. That is our water park day so a later ressie works well anyway.

Crystal Palace breakfast is my favorite. We should have an empty park because DHS has extra magic hours that night. Funny tho. This is the one ressie I'm most looking forward to but also the one I'm most afraid we won't make. I know my boys will be tired and not wanting to get up early enough to get to MK in time. :guilty:

You did GREAT on your ADR's. We love Plaza and Crystal Palace -- and they are our two MUST-DO's every trip. Mama Melrose gets such a mixed set of reviews, but we have never had a bad meal there and have always had good service. We've not done Rainforest Cafe in Florida; we did the one in Chicago and Vegas and was not impressed, but Jack likes it so that is all good. We've not done WCC for breakfast and might be willing to try it. We did do dinner a few years ago and did not like it at all (it's joined H&V as the only restaurant we won't return to). But all the reviews I've read of breakfast are good ones.

See, that wasn't so hard. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Your ADR's look good! We have an early morning ADR at the Crystal Palace for the first time in August. I am soooo looking forward to the empty Main Street pics!!

Congrats on finishing the C25K!!! :cheer2: Now is the hard part...maintaining your progress!! Good luck!

Looks like you got some nice ADRs! We are morning people (I leave the house at 6:30am at least 3 days a week so my kids have learned to wake up early if they want to see me in the morning!) but tend to go for rope drop. I don't think we've done a lot of breakfast ADRs. From what I've read you've got some good ones!

I'm looking forward to trying the Plaza and CP we do seem to do every trip also. I dropped the WCC ressies.
And, No it wasn't that hard.:lmao:

You are going to love the empty park. You really get to see so many thing you wouldn't normally seem with the crowds.

I'm doing ok so far with maintaining. I'm trying to work on my speed a little now.

I'm more of a morning person that the rest of my Peeps. It kills me some mornings when I'm up and ready to go and they are all still sleeping. :sad2:

Well I decided to change one of my ADR's. I dropped WCC and replaced it with Kona. I'm not sure DH would appreciate all of the non sense of WCC plus I really want to introduce him to the Poly. Made if he likes it we could stay there next year:rolleyes1

Oh and I ran 3.1 miles this AM again. Yeah Me!:cool1::rotfl:

We are trying Kona for the first time this year for breakfast after seeing Tim's reviews/pictures his last couple of trips. :thumbsup2

I think dropping WCC for Kona is a great move! I love that Tonga Toast.
All the other ADRs sound wonderful, too. Empty Main Street pictures are so cool. I don't think I'd ever be willing to get up that early, but I love seeing pictures from those of you who do.:rotfl:

:yay::yay::yay: on your running!!!! That is just AWESOME! That 3.1 miles will get easier and easier too. I'm in awe! I want to get there, I just need to want it at 5:00 AM.

Your ADRs are fantastic-I'm sure I've told you that already!! LOVE Kona breakfast! I hope your boys are willing to get up for CP, they won't regret it if they do-so fun and yummy.

I think your ADRs look great!

Kona breakfast is a must-do for us every trip, because nothing says heaven like Tonga Toast! That stuff is mana of the gods! You will be very happy with your ADR! :)

We did CP breakfast for the first time this past trip and had a blast! I was worried that the food wasn't going to be good, but I was pleasantly surprised. The puffed french toast alone was worth the price of admission!

The Tonga toast intrigues me. I might have to try it. Love empty main street pictures. I really want to just let Meadow loose to run up main street. Might be the only time I could catch her. :rotfl: Fingers crossed I can get my boys moving that early.

I have been doing some speed work on wednesdays which is helping make the 3.1 easier. I'm still sloooow tho. I definitely don't want to get up to run. I just do it, not at 5am tho. That's Jeannette running 5 miles at 4:30, not me.:sad2:

Ok must eat Tonga Toast and Puffed French toast. Sounds like a pleasant carb over load to me.:thumbsup2

I really enjoy CP too. I'm looking forward to going back.

We are getting ready for a couple of pretty ugly days here thanks to Irene. If we still have power later when Meadow goes down for her nap, I'm going to try to do an update.

Praying for everyones safety during this nasty storm.

Us too! Stay safe!!

32 more days until Disney :banana::banana:

I guess it's time for me to get moving and make some plans and think about packing. I did finally decide to book us a rental car. I just think it will be easier with the stroller and an active toddler.
We also have decided not to go to MNSSHP. We have been several times already and Jack really wants to play all 3 Disney mini golf courses. So, going with the go with the flow, easy vacation theme, this does make more sense. And it's cheaper ;) We only have 3 full days and 2 half days .That's not enough. I hope to hit DTD at some point. Hopefully we can do that before or after playing mini golf.
I'm still running and still not loving it. I think it's the getting up at 5:30am to run after going o sleep at 11:30 and being woken up at least once that I truely hate about it. I do need my sleep and definitely have not been getting enough of it. I wonder sometimes if I could run longer and faster if I got 7-8 hours of sleep at night instead of 5-6? Someday:rolleyes:

I think the idea of "playing" on all three golf courses is a good one. But where are there three? I know of Fantasia and Winter Wonderland; what is the third one?

I'm sorry you still aren't getting all your sleep.

Please be safe my friend.
