If I'm eating at the Contemporary

do I need to use my park ticket for MK that day? We have ADRs at the Wave on Dec 23 and we're going to AK that day. We're driving down, so we'd have a car available if need be, just wanted to check!

No the Contemporary is not inside a park, there is no reason you would need to use your park ticket that day.

You do not need park ticket to dine at the Contemporary. Since you have a car, I would drive and park at the Contemporary. They will give you a pass for parking. You could use Disney transportation. From your resort take bus to MK, (you will not go into the park) then get on the monorail to the Contemporary.
If your leaving from AK, you could take bus to the Contemporary, then after dinner monorail or walk to MK bus stop and get on bus to your resort. Unfortunately, there is not resort to resort transportation.

Thanks everyone. I haven't been on the monorail since I was like 17 and couldn't remember if you got on it at MK from inside or outside.
