If I were to rent DVC points from a DVC rental website could I still purchase the dining plan?

Will said website basically ask me what I want included like the Disney website does?
Not sure if website names are allowed on here so I don't want to mention it specifically but I assume most people would know what website I'm referring to for DVC rentals...

You will have to call the DVC broker to request the Dinning plan which will require a credit card

Each broker will handle the money differently. However, there are certain rules that are universal. The DVC member who made your resort reservation is the one who contacts Member Services and adds the dining plan to your reservation. Payment must be made in full at the time that it is added. Some brokers will ask for your credit card number and they will give the information to the owner to use for the dining plan purchase. Other brokers may accept a Disney GC for the owner to use.

If I decide to just pay OOP for dining and only rent points do most brokers require payment in full at the time of booking or is there a deposit and pay off date?

Different brokers. Different requirements. No two brokers do things exactly the same way. Check the FAQs for the brokers you're considering. They usually spell out their payment terms.
