If I were offered 1000 free points at the DVC resort of my choice, I would pick......

One time use? Aulani. We're here now, and we absolutely love it. My moderately well-traveled son has announced multiple times that Aulani is the best resort in the world. He also keeps telling us all the things he intends to do "next time we're here."

1000 more points to own? We already own at BWV, VGF, and BWV. I'd probably go with VGC, just because it is harder to get in at the 7 month mark, and I'd rent them out in years when I couldn't use them. (We've never rented our points, and never plan to, but I could see doing so if I ended up with way more than I could use some year.)

At first I thought VGF, it is a wonderful resort, then VGC as we could do a family gathering st DLRA. but then someone mentioned Aulani, a family gathering there would be wonderful. Aulani wins.

To own: Of the resorts now and if we can't break them up at a few resorts, then BCV.

If we can break them up, then 400 BCV, 400 BLT and 200 AKV.

If we could wait for Poly, then there instead of BLT.

If it's just one time use, I'd do Aulani.

I posted this a few months back. I change my mind. It would be 400 BCV, 400 BLT and 200 AKV, if to own (no Poly) and if just one time use, it would be an even split with BLT and BCV.

If one time use points I'd get VGF, rent them out and use the $ to buy resale at BLT , VWL, and/or BCV. If a full contract then the Poly if that's an option, otherwise 500 BCV and 500 BLT or VWL.

VGF & VGC. If I would have bought my BWV points as 150 & 100, I would have sold the 100 and bought VGC when it opened. But I had 250 in one contract and it didn't make sense to sell it and rebuy. I've been lucky - I'm 3 for 3 at VGC at 7 months and 1 for 1 at VGF.

I would choose 300 VGF, 200 Aulani, 500 Poly. That's my feelings and thoughts for today anyways...Ha Ha Ha
