If I wanted to order something and have it

When should I place my order and how do I do that?

I have never ordered anything and had it sent to my resort. But there are so many US sites that I would like to order from.

We will be there October 14 - 24 and we are DVC members staying at Old Key West.

I do this all the time, and so far have had no problems.

I aim to have the items arrive at the hotel 5-7 days before I arrive. When ordering most web sites tell you if the items are in stock and when they will be shipped, if something is not in stock I will not order it.
