If I wanted to get married in Fla, what do i need to do?

I just recently had my divorce finalized. I have found a wonderful person whom i plan to marry. Im sure i dont have the tons it would cost to marry at WDW, but was thinking if i wanted to surprise her and get married while we are at WDW, what would i need to do, how much would it cost? would i even be able to do it since i dont live in Fla?? Or do you know if WDW would have just a small private ceremony for just us resonably priced? thanks

There is a forum on here dedicated to weddings at disney!
I can also tell you that their is another company at disney that does weddings and they charge a heck of alot less than Fairy Tale Weddings and your wedding will still have all that disney magic! The website is www.justmarry.com
I am using them for my wedding and have done oodles of research and have only found great reviews! They will get back to you very quickly with a no-pressure quote if you email them
Ohh and you don't have to live in Fl to get married there..it is very easy to do-you can even mail order your wedding license ahead of time if necessary.
Disney also does small intimate ceremonies but even those where not realistic price wise for us.

You can get the intimate package for like 3500.00 which is sooooooooooo cheap!! You get a wedding and a honeymoon for that price!! You don't have to think about anything. The cake, the pictures, the ceremony, and the reception all included. I wish I had really looked into this for my first wedding because my poor parents took a lick!! Good luck to you

Yeah, the intimate wedding is pretty reasonable. You would need to get a marriage license, I am getting a mail order one using the company, Wedding For You. It is a little bit pricer, BUT worth it b/c there is no hassle!

The only item you need to make sure you check on is if the divorce is within a certain time window (not sure if it is one year, three years or what) you may have to provide a certified copy of your divorce decree to obtain a Florida marriage license. We lived in Phoenix when we did this... When I got home I took my marriage certificate to DMV and got my new license with my new name!
