If I use Orbitz, can I take advantage of a future discount?

Thinking of booking through Orbitz but a little nervous. We are going in July, and it seems as if some discounts could come out in March or later that would help out. If I book through Orbitz can I use any discount that come out later on my reservation?

You can't add a discount to a room-only booked through an OTA (Online Travel Agency), typically. You'd have to cancel and rebook, but nothing would stop you from doing so. You have full cancellation with no penalty up to 5 days before arrival. You can always book something now and if something better comes out that covers your dates, cancel and book the new discount. It really just depends on how much you want a specific room and/or dates. If you absolutely must have a specific room on specific dates, I'd book now just to make sure you get what you want. If you're at least a bit flexible, there's no huge rush to get something now; you could wait until the discounts come out and choose something from the available discounted rooms.

Thank you! We are not flexible with dates at all but are with rooms and resorts. I just have to see if an Orbitz discount would be worth it to book now or wait until later. I guess there is no risk booking now if I can cancel within 5 days of the trip.
