If I upgrade to an AP mid trip, will i lose FP+ reservations for the rest of trip

I am considering upgrading my tickets from 5 day hoppers to AP. If I do that mid trip, I want to make sure I don't lose my fastpasses for the latter half of the trip. Has anyone been through this?

Nope, as Robo said. I upgraded to AP's on Thanksgiving andit didn't affect my restaurant reservations or FP+'s at all.

If you buy a ticket with water parks and more on it, do you lose that for the rest of the duration of your ticket if you upgrade to AP?

You do, if you don't buy a PREMIUM AP (which includes the WP's and More options.)

AND…

If you were to have a MYW ticket with the WPF&M options on it, and you were to actually USE any of those WPF&M options before you upgrade to AP,
you would be forced to upgrade to a PREMIUM AP (which includes the WP's and More options.)

A PREMIUM AP costs $120 more than a "Tourist" (regular) AP, plus tax.
