If I reduce the number of days of MYW tickets on vacation package, will I lose my FP+ reservations?

We're currently booked on a vacation package with 8 day tickets, but are planning on getting premier AP's at Disneyland, so would like to reduce the package tickets to the 2 day minimum required. But our Disneyland trip is only 40 days before our WDW trip, which means I'd have to make the change before we have the AP's, since final payment is due 45 days out.

Assuming I've made 8 days of FP+ reservations 60 days out, will I lose most or all of them during that week between the day I reduce the tickets down to 2 days and the day we get the AP's and link them to my account? And if I do, should I be able to get them restored by calling Disney, or would I have to try to rebook them myself?

You'll lose 6 total days of FPs which will have to be rebooked by you. FPs only remain for 1.5 days without corresponding ticket entitlements.
