if i pay off my January trip and then a code comes out what happens?

Will i get refunded the difference? should i just hold out till last minute which i believe is Nov 27th to make payment in case a code comes out like free PH???

Personally, I would wait, just the avoid the hassle. But I think if you are able to apply a code, thye will refund you the difference. I would bet money that something will be out before the 1st week in Nov, so I'd give it a little more time before you pay off the trip.

I had this "problem." Although it wasn't a problem at all!

I had already paid in full, and the Visa code for the general public came out. They (Disney) deposited $650 back into my checking account, as I had paid with my debit card.

They gave me the option of refunding me the money or giving us a credit once we checked in. I opted for the refund.

Truly, it wasn't a hassle at all.

when you say visa code does this mean only people who had the disney visa?
and they they let everyone have the code and that's how you got it?
i too am using my debit cartd to pay for this

Yes. Initially there was a Disney Visa code. It was only available for those with the Disney Visa. Then, the code was released to the general public. I do not have the Disney Visa so it was useless to us until it was for the general public

I am sure they would also refund the money even if it were paid by check or credit card as well. Again, I had no issues with getting our credit. As simple as a phone call - which had to be made anyway when I was checking on the code!

I hope you get one before your trip - the extra $$ was such a nice bonus

This had happened to us a few times. We've had the extra left as a room credit. We spent it with no problem.
