I was looking at the long term forecast for Orlando, for next week.

It looks like Sunday's going to be reasonably warm (from a Canadian perspective, anyway), but the rest of the week looks downright chilly.

So... what kind of itinerary can I put together to ride anything that will get us wet on Sunday? Then the rest of the week we can stay warm and dry.

We'll be at the gates at 8am for Harry Potter, of course. (We're staying on site.)

But after that, I figure we can head over to Jurassic Park, do that ride, and then ride Dudley Do-Right and the Bilge Rat Barges and get properly soaked. Did I forget anything?

And is there anything in Universal Studios that will get us wet, that we should check out on Sunday before it gets too cold?

I don't think that anything at the Studios is likely to get you wet. You might get a bit of spray from Jaws but I've never seen anyone soaked or anything. Of course, I'm comparing everything to Popeyes where you practically drown. ;)

Do "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish" in Suessland at IOA. You could get wet on that too if you don't do it right.

On Jurassic park I found that we just got sprayed in the face. Popeye and Dudley you really get soaked. We wore ponchos and I did a pretty good job of holding mine closed so the waves of water didn't get in. DD didn't do as great of a job and she was wet all down her back.

Yup...if you don't follow the song you will get wet. ;)

Jurassic Park River Adventure is the way to go if you don't want to get soaked.

Well, DDR is going to be closed for a while since it caught on fire last week.

Islands is really where all the water rides are. Actually I have to disagree with some about the Jurassic Park ride, I have rarely gotten very wet on this ride, it is actually occasionally, usually just get splashed a little. Also, if you don't want to get wet on this ride, if you duck at the last minute and put your head into the cushion, you typically will just get a minor splash on your back.

Now to get soaked, Blutos Barges is a for sure soaker. Dudley Do rights falls is probably the best themed log ride IMO of any park, and you can get pretty soaked on that one typically. But those are the major 2 rides in all of Universal where you will get wet, Jaws and Jurassic Park not so much IMO. Have fun.
