If I make Reservations now for Aug.03 and Thanksgiving 03......

Hi everyone

If I make reservations now for Aug. 03 and Thanksgiving 03 can I keep my "SAME" reservations when the discount codes come out for these particular dates.

Once the codes come out thats when I would call and tell them "I have reservations for these dates, and now I am aware of a disounted rate" .

Has anyone ever done this and if so, was it a problem ?

That's how I've always done it. They just apply the codes to your existing reservations, and the # stays the same. You will get an updated confirmation form showing your new balance.

A new code should not change your ressie number however a change in resorts will require a new number.

You can do this as long as you go through CRO. I don't think this can be done with a WDTC package.

I have done it with WDTC, using my DC number. But, when the better rates have come out, I have been able to change. It's more of a hassle but it can be done. They have to refund my money (deposit),cancel existing ressie and then make a new one with a new deposit. I did make the deposit using my Disney CC(the old one!). So, maybe they'll be able to just use that instead of refunding. So, to answer the question...yep.. you can do it.
