If I make a reservation by phone can I check/cancel it online?

I need a reservation for January 2010 but rooms do not seem to be available online yet. If I call up and make a reservation can I view it online and cancel it online if a better rate comes along? Or does it need to be done by phone?

I book our room over the phone and I can't access it online. When I try I get a message saying that the last name does not match the reservation. So I called to make sure my ressie was right and they had the correct info and they did. The TM I talked with said they were having problems with the system. The email confirmaton I got has all the right info too.

Same here. The TM I spoke with said it was because my daughter's name was the main one on the ressie (she's 8 yrs old!) but that doesn't make any sense as to why I can't log on, she and everyone on our reservation have the same last name.

I've never been able to access reservations on the website that were booked over the phone. If you need to cancel or rebook those reservations, its best to call. Sometimes, with a rate change, the phone reps will be able to modify the current reservation with the new amount, so you'll keep the same confirmation number.

I originally was not able to access ADR's I made over the phone on the online dining website but suddenly over this past weekend, I was able to get the system to retrieve my DVC resort reservation & my dining ADR's made @ WDW-DINE! Pretty cool that they seemed to have gotten some glitches out! I would say to try & pull them up online first & if it doesn't work, then call.

WOW that was good for you! I was quoted the same price over the phone as what was showing online but it was a good deal either way.

Our reservation was for the rpr.but i decided to ask the lady what the price difference was between rpr and pbr thinking it was going to be alot.We were both surprised to find out it was only 5 dollars.And of course i changed.We went oct.5-10 last year.Going again this year oct.8-12.

Yes, the amount of a 1 night stay, plus the taxes for that 1 night is the deposit.
