If I live in the US, can I buy from amazon.com in the UK?

Sorry if this is a silly question. I posted this on the community board, but thought I'd also try here for some help. I noticed that two new Bob the Builder trucks are available - but only in the UK. There are a couple on ebay, and I could buy from amazon.co.uk. Would I be able to do this? Not sure how payment/shipping would work. Have any of you bought from amazon USA?

Sure you can! I live in Chicago and order from them all the time. The shipping is of course higher but there are times I can only find what I want "over there"

I live in the UK and order from Amazon in the US, but I can only buy things like CDs and DVDs, not electricals and toys.

mrsv98 - have you been able to buy toys? What's the procedure since prices aren't in US dollars?
