If I go with QS free dining, what if I change my mind?

If I were to book free dining in case room only discounts are small when or if they come out, will I be lose money from my deposit on the package?

I believe if you want to book with FD and upgrade later you can do it up to 72 hours before your check-in.

Edit: Nevermind I just realized what you're asking. You can change your mind and book with a room only later, but you'll have to make a different reservation. Provided you're not within 45 days of your check-in, you will receive the $200 in refund.
