for our trip to WDW in June? What have you found there that became useful?

Kathy

moleskin
misty fans
sunscreen
off!
ponchos (oh, wait... dollar store for that)
flip flops ($1.84 a pair!)
ziploc bags

Well you could start picking up snacks, non perishable of course, bottled water or sports bottles. Start buying sunscreen and aloe and lotion, rain ponchos, ball caps or sun hats if wanted. Are you planning to carry a backpack or fanny pack while there and do you have one?

What about camera and film or back up batteries for regular camera or extra memory for digital camera or camcorder?

Do you need little trinket toys for your children for the trip to WDW or little things that you can give as suprises while there?

Does your family need knew socks or undies or summer clothes like bathing suits or coverups or beach towels?

I'm sure I can think of more just give me a bit of time but this is a good start and some of this stuff can be purchased at the dollar stores.

Go to the dollar store first :earsgirl: There get toothbrush holders, soap holder, the 2 for a buck rain ponches, and stuff like that. Then at Wal-Mart we get the Brita sports water bottle and extra filters, sun protection, and in the camping area they have little waterproof bags... works GREAT for protecting purses and wallets when you go on Splash Mountain! I also got a little compact umbrella there, and a fanny pack if you dont have one! Luggage Markers if you havent gone to Home Depot yet and gotten your bright green mickeys :earboy2: I wish I still had my packing list, I could just post it on here for you... but when I c-formatted my puter, I lost it.

Home depot has green mickey luggage tags? Cool! Where would I find them?

I'd also like some of those green Mickey luggage tags!

Micki, where can we find them in Home Depot?

They're actually paint chips. Go to the paint section and it'll be the Disney collection. Get the Alien Green or Sonic Boom. Laminate it, punch a hole in it, and voila... instant DIS tags.

If you don't like the Orlando water, Walmart has store brand lemonade, raspberry ice, and peach tea individual drink mixes to put in water bottles. It is just like the Crystal Light On The Go mix, only cheaper.

I bought a very small collapsable red laundry basket - it folds flat, maybe 1 1/2foot by a foot wide when popped up! I found larger ones elsewhere, Walmart had the best small, compact, and under $10. I keep ours popped out in the closet, then when its laundry day, its all right there - it has a pocket, I've packed dryer sheets, and thrown my liquid detergent in a small plastic bottle I got at Walmart (travel section)

I get my Ear Planes there too, around $5 they are the only place I've found child size (dont know if you're flying you can find them in the pharmacy section by ear plugs ) read the back, it prevents ear pain while flying, the ceremic thingy in the tube equalizes pressure... wonderful product! Dh swears by it, dd8 has a strong mind, so for her its great!

I also buy tootsie rolls, or licorice to chew on in the plane instead of gum.

sunscreen
sunscreen...

did I mention sunscreen?

Gum (Not sold at WDW)
Film or digital storage (more than you might think you'll need)
Extra batteries for anything you take with you
Sunscreen
Aloe in case you forget to use the sunscreen :teeth:

Coolest little ditties we bought at W-M for our trip were hand-held battery-operated fans--they were about $1.49 each. Compact enough to go in fanny packs. Between those and the Brita bottles, we stayed as cool and hydrated as possible while waiting in line, and they beat the cost of the fans they sell on site.

That is a way cool idea, thanks!!! :cheer2:

I always like to bring a bag to carry my stuff around the parks (diapers, AP's, etc. I was there yesterday and bought a bunch of small handbags and zippered totes. I also always use these at home, to carry a piece of the magic.. They had a nice selection- Alice, Snow White, Bambi, Lady & the Tramp, Tink, etc.
