Nov 2, what day will I last be able to use them? I know they expire 14 days after first use, but I am confused as to how Disney counts the days. So, if first used on the 2nd, will the last day to use be the 15th or the 16th?

Nov 2 is a Saturday. The second Friday following (15th) is the 14th day and the last day you can use the ticket.

15th

I know this is old, but just wanted to update just in case someone else had the same question and finds this thread.

I was able to successfully use our passes on Nov 16th (first day of use was Nov 2, the day after the last MNSSHP) and even upgraded to APs at 10:30 that night.

Maybe the 14-day rule has changed with the introduction of MDE and MBs to where it is counted as Nov 2 + 14 days = Nov 16, rather than Nov 2 = day 1, Nov 3 = day 2 etc (in which the 14th day would be Nov 15) :confused3

I think you just got lucky. But good for you.

I could see that if we were relying on a human to decide, but MDE stated an expiration date of Nov 16 after we used the tix and every CS CM that I had run the tickets to be sure said Nov 16, even after I explained to them that we first used them on Nov 2. They seemed to think that is the way its supposed to work.

We had eight total tickets comprised of more than one party and all said the same, so it is unlikely to be a mistake unless MDE commonly miscalculates expiration dates or is miscalculating all of them and Disney is unaware (which is completely possible considering its multiple issues...)

I would guess most likely that someone in programming wasn't thinking when the wrote the code and simply had it set the end date as +14 from first use. The two week use time should be an inclusive count, making the last day of use 13 days after the first day of use. But, if instead the programmer was just told that "tickets are good for 14 days" they may have simply used that number. I would guess that eventually Disney will correct this, just as soon as all the other glitches are fixed. :lmao:
