So I figure if I start this now, I will HAVE to do my Trip Report when we get back. :rotfl:

Cast-

Me a.k.a Planning Princess-DW 25 yo, Former CM for MK, MGM, Recruiting and DS. Has terribly episodes of talking about Disney incessantly for days at a time. Desperately trying not to plan every minute of the trip.

Kevin a.ka. DVD God- DH 24 yo, Former CM at MGM. Obsessed with anything to do with DVDs, DVD players, or movies; has DVDs totalling over 300. Visit our (his) website for a complete tutorial on the science of DVD's. Has terrible episodes of tuning out anything related to Disney planning and will answer only to DVD God :wizard:

Backstory -

Dh and I met while doing the CP at Disney's MGM Studios. Dated long distance for 2 1/2 years before finally tying the knot. Disneymooned at BWV and bought into DVC with a nice CM discount :cool1: . This will be our first trip with points and without some type of CM discount. This will also be our first time leaving baby Zoe (Jack Russell Golden Retriever) in a kennel  .

Trip Itinerary -

04/02 - Fly out of Dulles to SFB (Sanford-Orlando Airport) ETA 10 a.m. Pick up Rental car and make our way to POFQ. Swim a bit, head to Church and then DTD for Dinner

04/03 EPCOT and MGM (Drop off Rental at WDW Dolphin)

04/04 - Free day. Plans include canoeing, Ohanas and a Wishes fireworks cruise

04/05 - AK and EPCOT (Illuminations)

04/06 - MK (Pick up Rental car at WDW Dolphin)

That's it. Can't wait to come back and write what will surely be a truly exciting trip report!! :earboy2:

Sounds like the makings of a wonderful vacation.

As an aside, we bought DD a fox red labrador retriever for her birthday last month, and she named her Zoe. DH just commented last night on how there's probably no one else in the world who would name their dog Zoe. Now I have a rebuttal. Thanks! :)

Do you have any pictures?? Dh loves that we named her Zoe!

A good friend of mine has decided to surprise his wife and join us on our vacation. They have never been to Disney before so this will be a blast!! Here is our updated "planned" itinerary:

04/04 - Typhoon Lagoon, free afternoon and Boma for dinner

04/06 - MK Kona for breakfast and whispering canyon for dinner(Pick up Rental car at WDW Dolphin)

04/07 - Get up early and head to Port Canveral and Disney's Wonder
(Drop off Rental Car)

04/07-04/10 Disney Wonder

After this past week of our snow here in VA you're probably looking forward to it even more! I'm watching it fall as I sit here and write this ...

My daughter (a senior at JMU) is a CP'er at Epcot right now, driving the Friendship boats there and in the gateway. Mostly though I think she's just playing and having a great time!! :cool1: I don't think she's going to want to come back when her CP is over ...
We have a May trip planned to visit her, but lately I've been thinking I may need to plan another little visit before then ::MickeyMo

BTW, we have a cat named Zoe >>^..^<<
