if i change my ticket from base to parkhopper...

i bought base tickets at the 'old' prices. If i now call back to change them to parkhopper tickets will i have to pay the new higher prices- or will i get what they would have been at the time i booked the trip?

we are thinking about adding the park hopper option to our tickets too! I think that it's just a $50 charge per ticket

To avoid the issue entirely, wait until you use the tickets once and then add the park hopper. If you get a CM who knows what he/she is doing, you will be credited with the then-current price of the ticket, and just charged for the hopper add-on. There's no benefit to adding it now.

And you might decide once you're there that you don't actually need the park hopper, thereby saving some bucks.
