Just double checking. If I make a deposit and start paying on a cruise , I have until the paid in full date to change my mind and cancel without penalty ? I can also switch to a different cruise at any time before paid in full? Seems too good to be true.

Yes, which depending on your cruise is between 75-120 days before sailing. It is also a staggered reduction after that before reaching non-refundable status at 14 days (29 for concierge on certain holiday cruises). It's not too good to be true, odds are if you cancel that Disney can resell your room for more than you booked it for. It's also good business for them, people are more willing to book knowing there is an out if they need it and then are more likely to keep the booking after months of anticipation.

It's 100% true. So are DCL's exorbitant prices.

And if you decide to change room categories, you'll be locked into the prices the day you booked, not what they are going for if/when you change. That won't count if you change cruises though.

Also, if you use Disney gift cards to pay for the cruise, be sure to keep them because if you cancel they refund each card individually.
