If I cancel my June trip, can I bank my points?

My use year is December. If I cancel my trip for June that I usd 2019 and 2020 points will I need to use all those points by Nov 30 or can I bank the points into 2020?

your Dec 19 points can still be banked until July 31, as long as those weren't originally 2018 points that were banked into 2019

Since you have a Dec UY, your June trip is in your 2019 UY. Sounds like you used your current UY points and borrowed points from 2020.
As of today, if you cancel, they are putting those borrowed points back,

However, that could change anytime, so if you are not going, I’d call and cancel soon.

So they would put 2020 points that I borrowed back to 2020 and if needed I could bank the 2020 into 2021?

I do not have to wait until Disney cancels my June trip to bank points?

Yes - right now, all borrowed points are returning to their original use year and are bankable. I booked a trip for May 2020 and have a June use year and my points returned to my 2020 UY and are bankable. It took ~10 days for DVC to do this, and in the meantime the points were sitting in 2019 - but all of their communications said to be patient and only reach out after 14 business days.

If you cancel June now, before there is any change to the policy.l.which they can do..they wil return the borrowed points.

However, if you do that and then decide to travel again, you will be limited to borrow back no more than 50% of the total contract. This is a temporary change to help with the closing and we do not know how long it will last.

If you have borrowed any other points for different reservations, they count toward the new 50% total,

The system will allow you to book and borrow more, but if you do, the reservation will be canceled

So, I would not bank yet if you think you could reschedule before the end of UY, since your banking window doesn’t end until July.

I think once they announce an opening date, the rule change for borrowed points will be stopped
