If I buy a Seaworld annual pass from Undercover Tourist, will I need to pay for parking my first visit?

In the terms and conditions, Undercover Tourist's website says:

Redemption​

Please present your printed E-Ticket and a valid matching ID at Zone C. The Ticket Agent will exchange your E-Ticket for a Annual Pass, valid for unlimited entry for one (1) year from date of purchase.

Presumably I will need to park in Seaworld's parking lot to do this. Will I have to pay to do this the first time, as I will not yet have my annual pass, or will Seaworld allow me to park for free if I tell them I am planning to exchange my E-Ticket?

I imagine you should be able to show that printout/confirmation and your ID? But I don't really know. For Discovery Cove packages, you just show your confirmation & they scan the barcode.

You might call and ask either SW or UT?

I just got an official reply from Undercover Tourist:

you need to activate it at the park, im sorry for the long wait

you pay the first time once you activate the annual pass they provide a better rate
