If I buy a 25 pt resale can I then buy small add ons from Disney direct?

If I buy a very small 25pt contract resale am I then able to purchase 25 or 50 pt contracts direct from Disney.

Yes, you pay pretty high closing costs on that small resale, but then you are in the system and can do whatever any other member can do without having to have had to buy in at the minimum. This is exactly what I did. Just be careful you get the use year you want with the resale, since Disney will give you the same.You will not, however, ever get a tote bag If Disney had these great OKW prices the reasale market has, I'd buy more..but the closing costs at resale keep me away from them now.

Lol, for the 25 point contract any at WDW, then I want to add on in 50pt increments with Disney at BLT and possibly an Epcot resort.

So if you get 50 more BLT points, you can only use the 50 points at BLT for home resort priority and your original contract at that home resort. At seven months, they will be equal. BUT, what you really want might not be available at seven months (like the MK view at BLT).

I'll be booking 11 months out, I don't mind a split stay, I'm in the UK so am planning 2 weeks every other year so will have banked points from the year we don't go.

Don't forget you can bank and borrow, so you can actually get three years into a visit. With my 25 OKW I can do almost a week every three years. Do wish I had more VGC though 125 just doesn't stretch too far. Good luck! I have no regrets at all.

This is exactly what we did. In 2007 we bought a 25 point OKW contract, added 25 more then next year (2008) and just added 50 this year at BLT.

It allowed us to buy in with cash instead of going in debt, which I love.

Well I've just faxed the contracts and deposit form for 25 points at AKV.

My plan is very similar, I want to add another 25 points at AKV and then 50 at BLT.

Just need to wait for ROFR.
