If I book my Disney cruise and WDW trip on my Disney VISA card do I get a discount?

Wondering if I will save money if I pay for my disney vacation with my Disney VISA card. We are going on a Disney Cruise and a week at WDW.

Sometimes there's an onboard credit for paying with your Disney Visa but I don't know what the amount is.

There are Disney World Resort discounts that come out earlier than for the general public but the discounts aren't any better.

You will get 0% financing for 6 months when you pay for your cruise or vacation package with your Disney Visa.

That's about it.

Also, if the disney premier card, any disney-related purchase is entitled to double reward points (2 percent instead of 1), so for a 5 thousand dollar disney purchase, would be 100 dollars in disney rewards, which you can use at wdw (and I assume also on the cruise, although not certain)

You get a $50 On Board Credit, the 0% financing, and the rewards for it. Keep in mind also that if you book through a travel agent they can get you their own on board credit, plus an online booking credit of $25 in addition to that on board credit. Alternately if you book through Costco you can get the Disney Visa OBC + Online booking OBC + a Costco Cash Card upon your return.

We did this for our first cruise ... for the next one you're better off going with the on board booking discount with a higher on board credit. But between the TA credit, the online booking OBC, plus the Disney Visa OBC we had $125 when we stepped on board, not bad.

For our Disney Cruise I booked onboard and got 10% off and a 200 OBC, then I fully paid it off with the Disney Visa and got an additional $50.00 OBC from the Disney Visa, so we will have 250.00 credit when we arrive to ship.

I also prepaid gratuities with the Disney Visa, to get rewards dollars for that.

Actually, I pay for everything with my Disney Visa to earn more rewards dollars. I pay this off each month.

Once you get your Disney Visa and start earning rewards dollars, you need to get a Disney Redemption Card, then transfer as many rewards dollars to this card to pay for Disney purchases, ect.

The only thing to remember is Disney Redemption dollars expire at the end of the year. So to make sure you don't lose them, buy Disney Gift cards with any remaining money you have on your redemption card. As Gift cards don't expire.

I know that is a lot to take in. But, it is so worth it. We earned $900.00 Disney Rewards dollars in about 18 months, and applied it all to a Panama Canal cruise next year.

I would double check this with DCL. Unless this is a very recent change, you can't use 2 promo codes on one reservation. TAs can stack OBCs, but as far as promo codes offered by DCL, it's either the onboard booking or the Disney Visa code.
