Not after your pif date

Which cruise went down $900? I like to see if I can get a bargain! I've only seen a handful of cruises go down more than 1% in cost. And 2017 prices are significantly more expensive than 2017.

Ok, you may be talking about two different animals.....

1. If the actual regular cruise fare of a cruise goes down you can call DCL and ask for a refund of the difference (happens but is very rare).

2. If the price goes down due to a last minute restricted discount fare VGT, OGT or IGT (not a regular fare drop) then no, you can't get money back. Those highly discounted last minute fares offered on some sailings after the PIF date are for new bookings only. You can't transfer the discounted rate to your currently booked cruise. You would have to cancel, incur any penalties and then rebook at the discounted fare. Sometimes it is worth it to do that, sometimes it is not....all depends on the savings.

VGT, OGT and IGT fares are offered when DCL wants to fill a ship in the last few months before the cruise and are meant to attract NEW bookings. They are shown on the website as an actual category to book and are usually marked in red.
