If I arrive before my room is ready can I still access the hotel?

Pretty much the title, if my room isn’t ready until say 4pm, and we arrive at noon can we still get access to the property? Like we have reservations at POP and will be around well before check in I’m sure. Can we get there earlier, then park and take the skyliner down to the boardwalk and kill some time until the rooms ready? Thanks.

Yes, you can. If you do online check in , they will send you a text with room number when it’s ready.

You can even access the pool if you so desired.

You’re considered a guest of the resort starting at 6 AM on checkin day. You just might not have access to your room yet. You can drop off your luggage with Luggage Assistance and go have fun. If you might want to swim, keep those items with you.

I recommend doing online check-in and specifying what time you think you'll arrive at the hotel. I've stayed at POP twice in the last year and arrived at the airport around 10AM both times. I did the online check in and said I would be at the hotel at 10:30. Both times my room was ready around 11. I've been really impressed with POP in that respect.
