If HS closes at 8:00 why is it showing reservations after 8:00 ?

I was just searching the Disney site for reservations in December and it gave me one with 50's Prime Time for 8:00 and 8:20 ? Do they take reservations after closing time ? It is listed as closing at 8:00 that night.

I am not positive on this one, but one night after seeing fantasmic we had a reservation at 50's Prime Time and it was by far the best time we've had while eating there. It wasn't as crowded and we had the best waitress, she was hilarious! But perhaps it has something to do with Fantasmic showing that night?? Because it was a late reservation. But if it is showing they have that time avalaible, then I don't see why you couldn't
If it were me, I'd call and check about that.

We just walked into Sci-Fi one night, 5 mins before closing and they sat us! It was awesome! Walking out of the park, we were the only people around! It was so cool!

I would call Disney Dining, just to be sure, but it was a great way to extend the evening! Happy planning!

We have dinner reservations at Sci Fi in early Dec at 8 pm. The park closes at 8 pm
They also offered me an 8:15 that evening as well. I'll be happy to walk out of the park with it empty!!

Yes that would be cool to relax and enjoy a late dinner while all the crowds leave.

If you haven't checked the park hours lately, you should do that. They did change slightly this week for our upcoming trip. They extended hours in MK till 1 a.m.!
