What dates would it (probably) encompass?

We could go if it started the week of August 12th, but after that would probably be too late.

Anyone know when it started last year?

For some reason Aug. 13th comes to mind as the first day free dining started last year. I know that the first day of my trip was Aug. 15th and free dining had started that week. Hope they offer it this year. I read on these boards recently that they had some bounce back promotion if you stayed at a Disney resort during November and December and booked another trip while you were there for August or September you would get free dining. Well I stayed at All Star Movies in mid December and never heard anything about it. I would have definitely booked a return trip if I had known about the promotion. I check these boards almost daily and I don't know how I missed that!!

The bounce back plan and the plan offered to the UK starts Aug 5 this year if that is any indicator

I want to book a trip fro late sept/early oct. Anyone else hear anything about this, I want to book asap, but I dont want to miss out on a free dinig thing etiher, what to do?
