Sounds like you already have a packaged booked so the answer is it depends. If you are able to modify your current reservation to the same room category and tickets etc and a room under the FD discount is available then yes you would get a "discount" on the DxDP. This is because you only pay the difference between whatever you got for free and the DxDP instead of full price for the DxDP. With that said if you have to change to a different resort, change room categories, or change tickets your "discount" goes down with every move.
When discounts are announced the list of participating resorts is included. You would need to look at the discount offered and see if Aof A is pne of the resorts with FD, and if there is availability for your dates. The reservation is rebooked I believe, although you do not see that. It is behind the scenes.
DxDDP is never offered so you would pay the fee to upgrade. I never can remember if Aof A has been offered for discounts in the past, but you could google historical discounts to see.
I also believe that they will most likely exclude art of animation little mermaid standard rooms. So if you are not in a family suite you would also be out of luck.
