If FD starts 8/23, what in meantime?

If Disney syarts FD on 8/23 (as many are predicting), do you think they will offer anything to people travelleing 8/16-8/22? These happen to be my dates. ARGG! I hope this isn't the one week where nothing is offered.

All the dates are just speculation now so try not to get upset yet. I would feel so bad if you missed the FD by one week! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!! Any way you can switch your dates if need be?

Does anyone (like me) fear that because of the 4/3 deal, and the fact that it has been extended until 8/15, that the free dining plan will not be offered this year? I have an upcoming trip using the 4/3 deal, but I (like many) am also waiting for Free Dining to be announced for a possible Sept./Oct. trip as well!!! I am afraid NOT to take advantage of the bounce-back offers usually given before you leave the resorts!!!...WHAT TO DO!!!

All of the 10 or so current Free Dining threads are posting information from Tourings Plans and other sites (I think the DIS Pod Cast is reporting it to) that the Free Dining Promo for Disney Visa holders will come out this Thursday, March 26 and will then come out for the general public on March 30.

I see that some people have posted that AAA in Canada is giving dates that start on 8/16. I hope that is the same for the US. I would take an extension of 4/3 too. I will not be picky.
