If doing an add on at BLT, can the $5 point off be used as down payment?

We are thinking of doing a 50 point add on at BLT, currently were told at $112/point and ive read about the $5 point bonus off. Can that be used towards the down payment, or do you still have to give a full 10% of the price to them, around $540-$560, i cant remember exactly right now. If we can use it towards down, that would be $250 of it, is that right, or can you not do that at all?

Do you need the full downpayment before doing any further paperwork and getting it started?

At least for a new purchase, you must pay the 10 percent downpayment on the full price of the points, notwithstanding any credit applied to reduce the price. So, even with a $5 per point discount, you still need to pay 10 percent of the $112 purchase price. Assuming it works the same for add ons (and I think I've read here that it does) your downpayment would be $560.

I did a 50 point add on in June for BLT and they based my down payment on the reduced price.

At the time, it was $104 per point ($8.00 off) so the contract was $5200. My deposit was $520.00 which I paid with my Disney Visa.
